Megan is 19 years old and has been traveling the central and southeastern US. She competed in the 2023 IPRA dress act showcase at the IFR in Guthrie Oklahoma and won reserve champion. Megan is self taught and has also trained all her own horses. Diesel is her trick riding horse. Dixie and Willow are her Roman riding team.

Bronc Riding

Saddle bronc riding requires a balance of strength, style, and intense focus on the bronc beneath the rider. Scoring depends equally on the cowboy’s performance and the bronc’s ability to deliver a strong ride.

Recognized since the early 1900s, this event is often called the “Classic” cowboy event, showcasing the perfect blend of skill and tradition.

Bull Riding

Bull riding is one of the most exciting and physically demanding events, requiring unmatched athleticism. Often called one of America’s most dangerous sports, it tests a rider’s strength, skill, and courage.

Mounting a one-ton animal with lightning-fast reflexes demands exceptional coordination and bravery. Despite the risks, the cowboys’ passion for the sport and deep respect for their livestock have helped bull riding reach record-high fan ratings.

Cowgirl's Barrel Race

Cowgirls’ barrel racing is a thrilling event where riders compete against the clock, maneuvering through a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels. Knocking down a barrel results in a five-second penalty per barrel.

Timed to the hundredth of a second by an electric eye, this high-speed event is one of the most exciting in the arena, keeping fans of all ages on the edge of their seats.

Bare Back Bronc

Bareback bronc riding contrasts with saddle bronc riding, as judges look for a wilder, less controlled posture. Both events demand technical skill and precise timing to complete a qualified 8-second ride.

With explosive power, these bucking horses can easily eject a 165-pound cowboy, making bronc riding one of the most challenging and intense rodeo events.
