CLEAR BAG POLICY IN EFFECT!

Exchange Park Family Festival Clear Bag Policy

The clear bag policy affects the type and size of the bags permitted onto the grounds — not the items (keys, makeup, combs, smartphones, wallets, and credit cards) that you would normally bring to an event. Guests can still carry these items in their pockets. Guests will also be allowed to openly carry a blanket or jacket into the fairgrounds, though they are subject to search. For the fastest way to enter the fairgrounds, we strongly advise guests to not bring any type of bags, but if you must, below are the specific types of bags that will be allowed:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that and do not exceed 12” x 6” x12”
  • One-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

More About What You Can and Cannot Bring

What about diaper bags?

Diapers are permitted but must be placed inside an approved clear bag. Each family member, including children, may bring one approved clear bag into the festival grounds.

Each guest may carry one large clear bag, either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a clear bag measuring up to 12″ x 6″ x 12″.

Medically necessary items are allowed as an exception to the clear bag policy after proper inspection. Security personnel will be stationed at the gates to screen these items as needed.

If you must bring medical items that cannot fit into a clear bag, exceptions will be granted following inspection. Guests requiring medical equipment at all times may bring those items through designated security screening areas.

Bags that do not comply with the clear bag policy will not be allowed past the gate and will be turned away before reaching the security screening checkpoints.

No. The policy limits only the type and number of bags, not the personal items you bring. Non-prohibited items may be carried in pockets or jackets. Blankets are allowed, and binoculars or cameras may be worn around the neck or carried by hand without a case. Each person in your group may bring one approved clear bag.
